Taylor Eats: Sunday In Brooklyn

Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Sunday In Brooklyn is the perfect restaurant to have brunch. Why? Because they serve brunch EVERY SINGLE DAY until 4 pm! Can you imagine brunching on a Tuesday afternoon?
I love brunching so much that I had to take a trip to Sunday in Brooklyn to see what it was like to brunch on a weekday. All of the positive Yelp reviews further confirmed that I needed to visit this restaurant and many of the reviews pointed to trying the Malted Pancakes. How did we make these decisions before Yelp? Lol?? Disclaimer: If you do not have a sweet tooth, the Malted Pancakes is not the dish for you.

The Malted Pancakes were visually stunning. They were fluffy, drizzled with hazelnut maple praline syrup and brown butter. I was literally hypnotized by their beauty and their sweet aroma when the waiter placed them in front of me. But we all know that you must eat pancakes when they are hot off the griddle so unfortunately, my love affair only lasted a few seconds. The first bite sent my taste buds into pure bliss. The amazing and sweet hazelnut maple praline syrup mixed with the creaminess of the brown butter was absolutely flavorful and tasty! I must admit that after a couple of bites, I was completely full.

I think brunching during the week is great for people who work on the weekends. I used to work on the weekends and hated missing my Sunday brunches. But no more! Now that the weather is warmer, I will surely be returning to Sundays In Brooklyn to try other dishes while enjoying their outside seating area. If you ever decide to visit Sunday In Brooklyn, don’t forget to try their Malted Pancakes!
